Educational Technology and Human Flourishing: New Technologies in a Christian School
Dr. David I. Smith
This research project, conducted by Dr. David I. Smith, examines how new technologies are reshaping the practices and culture of education and how this impacts the identity and mission of Christian schools. Combining theological and multiple empirical analyses, this study will consist of a mixed-method evaluation of a school that is situated in an established theological tradition and also has a reputation for technological innovation. This study seeks to elucidate the benefits and pitfalls for student formation in a Christian school of systemic investment in new technologies, with the aim of informing decision making in similar educational contexts.
